Friday 3 November 2017

A collision of Blues mixed with Roots is what is in store Friday the 3rd November at the Harmonie German club ACT. The Canberra Blues Society presents two of the hottest acts the East Coast of Australia has to offer in 19 Twenty and Tomcat Playground.

A showcase of where raw, Australian primal rock/roots meets traditional blues and swing, this is one for lovers of up tempo, swinging nights, guaranteed to have you jumping..

19 Twenty have etched their success in Australia by delivering in your face, pumping sets of high energy, full powered roots flavoured rock, playing festivals far and wide, always selling out their shows to appreciative, sweating and worn out fans of all ages. Kane Denelley fronts a 3 man cyclone consisting of Syd Green and John Gwilliam, promising to turn your shoes into worn out relics..

Tomcat Playground have fast become one of Australia’s most dynamic blues acts, playing a style of blues influenced by the American era of pre and post WWII, with hints of the rock & roll eras continued into the 1960s and 70s. Local guitar legend Dave Blanken is joined by Harmonica player Dan Sullivan, Mike Rix and Greg Clark giving a real journey through the blues and its evolution.

Get your tickets fast, for one of the most upbeat, electric nights coming to the ACT !
