Keith, originally hailing from Manchester UK, started his musical career in Adelaide. One of the first gigs was supporting Mike Rudd and Ariel with his band Windfall. One of his most memorable tours back then was supporting Kevin Borich in the outback towns of Whyalla and Port Pirie.
Moving to Sydney in 1979 Keith played on "The Balmain Blues Scene" in the bands Hot Ice with Shayne Pacey (Bondi Cigars) and The Stumblers with Dom Turner (The Back Sliders).
Fast forward to the present & THE KEITH HALL BLUES BAND were Finalists in 2016 Chain Awards ‘The Band of The Year’ category.
The band has developed a distinctive sound of their own; drawing on traditional blues of people like John Lee Hooker, Dr. John & Buddy Guy as well as the British Blues Scene of the 60’s Van Morrison, Eric Clapton/John Mayall & Eric Burdon.
The band’s latest album“ A Sense Of Place “, released April 2016 was recorded with the help of 14 Friends from around Australia including Andy Phillips , Paul Hay , Tim Hulsman & our beautiful local lady, Ali Penny. The album debuted at No.3 on its release.
