ABOUT

The Imbisswagon or IMBISS is a 2024 board initiative to bring the Harmonie German Club to the streets.

We can cater for various events and functions and push out up to 300 serves an hour in this bespoke purpose-built food van.

We are participating in some of Canberra’s iconic events so keep your eyes out for us and support us if you see us on the road.

We can design menus to suit your event, but our basic StreetFood menu is hard to beat, featuring the classic Currywurst, Leberkase, freshly baked Pretzels and mountains of Bratwurst and Kransky’s.

We can bring you the entire Biergarten experience with traditional German biergarten furniture, white picket fencing, functioning portable bar with  fully imported beer, schnapps and haus made Gluhwein.

Standard IMBISS Menu

GERMAN SAUSAGE ON A ROLL    

  • BRATWURST – The OG German BBQ sausage (pork and beef)
  • SWISS BRATWURST – Finely ground pork and veal (white sausage)
  • KRANSKY – Double smoked Pork sausage (red in colour)
  • VEGAN – plant-based sausage.

(All Rolls include sauerkraut and fried onions + self serve condiments)

CURRYWURST                                   

German sausage diced and served with a tomato-based curry sauce and half bread roll. (Traditional Berliner Street food)

LEBERKÄSE                                       

Served on a bread roll.
