The Harmonie German Club’s much-loved Autumn German Markets are back on Saturday 22 March, and we’d love you to be part of it!

Set within the warm, welcoming atmosphere of Canberra’s iconic German Club, our markets offer stall holders a vibrant, high-foot-traffic event with a distinctly European flair. From our authentic German grocer and deli in the Keller, to mouth-watering German street food from the IMBISS Food Van, plus imported German bier and schnapps flowing behind the bar — there’s an irresistible buzz in the air that keeps visitors browsing, eating, drinking and buying.

Our markets proudly showcase a diverse mix of stall holders, with everything from records and fashion to handmade goods, preserves, plants and unique finds. If you sell something special, there’s a place for you here — and a crowd ready to discover it.

Add to that live entertainment in the Zeppelin Room, a relaxed family-friendly vibe, and a community that loves to support local traders, and you’ve got the perfect setting to showcase your brand.

Please read before booking your stall/s with us!

• We sell 3x3m outdoor stall spaces. FRONT stalls are $30 plus booking fee, SIDE stalls are $25 plus booking fee. Note that slots are limited.
• If you require more space, purchase more than one slot side by side
• We do not accept stalls that sell food unless it is pre-packaged for take-away.
• Please bring your own tent/gazebo. (PLEASE NOTE: Pegs cannot be installed.)
• Please bring your own table/s and chair/s.
• Power outlets will not be accessible. Please bring your own power source.
• Our gates will open at 7am. Markets start at 9am. Even-numbered stallholders load in 7am-7.45am and odd-numbered stallholders load in 745am-8.30am.
• We will require you to remove your vehicle from the grounds after loading in. Ample parking is available outside the club grounds.
• If you wish to leave early (i.e. you’ve sold out), you will need to hand-carry your equipment to your parking area. This is for the safety of our marketgoers.
• If you have any special accessibility requirements (i.e. larger vehicles), please let us know by sending an email to enquiries@harmonieclub.com.au
• The Harmonie German Club is not liable for any loss, damage or injury to stallholders and their market wares incurred during participation in these markets.
• The markets will proceed even in the event of inclement weather.
• Refunds and deferment of bookings to stallholders can be given up to two (2) weeks before the market. No refunds or deferment can be applied within two (2) weeks of the market date.

Upon successful purchase of a stall, we will email you closer to market date with ingress/egress instructions and other important information.

The Brothers Downunder is an Allman Brothers band experience that replicates a true authentic sound of the Allman Brothers songbook

This experience features leading blues Rock royalties from the Australian music scene fronted by one of the country’s finest Geoff Achison on Vocals  and Guitars , performing some of the bands classics like –

Whipping post, In memory of Elizabeth Reed, Jessica, Blue sky and Statesboro blues!!!

The band also features country’s renowned jazz-blues drummers Rosscoe Clark and Greg Ohlback on drums

Jamband guitar sensation Ben Chakravorty on slide and guitar,  John Tweed Williams  on keys and Hammond organ, Dario Moconja on bass and David Armstrong on Latin percussions, and Eric Betts of blues harp and harmonica.

It’s an absolute treat and joy to watch – The Brothers DownUnder perform live and bring out the legendary live improvised jams on stage and the musical conversations that takes place in the moment between all the musicians to recreate the classic sound that goes way back to the 70’s live Fillmore East concerts with its unmistakable twin  guitar sounds of  Duane Allman and Dickie Bates and the roaring Hammond organ of Gregg Allman along with his soulful singing.

Parking There is an ample number of parking spaces on our grounds, on the street outside and the grass area right next to the club.

Seating: Please note, if you purchase a standing room ticket, there will be no seats.
