Annually held in Munich, Bavaria, Germany. This 200+ year old festival is an important part of Bavarian culture, having been held since the year 1810. Other cities across the world also hold Oktoberfest celebrations that are modelled after the original Munich event.

In 2024, we’re holding Oktoberfest right here at the Harmonie German Club! Inside and outside you’ll find food and beverage stalls, dining areas, markets, live entertainment, German party games, fun activities, cool competitions and a host of German traditions to get you into that wunderbar Oktoberfest spirit. This is one party you won’t want to miss!

The traditional Oktoberfest experience is a non-stop party bringing the community together in the spirit of celebration. With this is mind, we’ve got a program stacked full of fun, fantastic, hilarious and culturally authentic games including:

• Miss Oktoberfest;
• Strong Man;
• Fingerhakeln;
• Little Mr/Miss Oktoberfest;
• Pretzel-eating competition;
• Sausage eating competition;
• Stein Hold;
• Beer Puppeteer;
• Beer Keg Rally;
• What’s That German Word?

           and so many more!

And of course, we’ll have the traditional Munich beerhall experience with a live Oompah band, a Bavarian slap-dancing troupe, emcees, sing-alongs and lots and lots of other live entertainment.

We’re still stacking our program with fantastic games and cultural delights – and we’re hoping to treat each and every visitor this year to a warm, welcoming, wild and wunderbar Oktoberfest celebration, right here on the grounds of our club.
