Canberra Swiss Club Inc

The Canberra Swiss Club is a group of Swiss people and their families residing in the ACT and neighbouring districts of NSW, and others with a special interest in or relationship to Switzerland. The club holds various events like fondue nights, national day celebrations, ‘Jass’ card tournaments, picnics, and bushwalks.

The Canberra Swiss choir ‘Crèmeschnitte Chörli’ rehearse in the Keller of the German Harmonie Club. They are a lively group who sing traditional Swiss songs for fun in all four of their national languages (German, French, Italian, and Romanch). The choir performs at Swiss Club events and for the community to perform at nursing homes and at festive events including at the German Harmonie Club. The Committee of the Canberra Swiss Club also often conduct their meetings at the German Harmonie Club, and have held some of their club events there.
