The Austrian Choir Canberra is a SATB choir and was formed in 1981. They have an extensive repertoire of Austrian, German, English and international songs, ranging from serious compositions and traditional music to the more modern ‘Heimatlieder’ and other folk music, ballads as well as the unforgettable Viennese waltzes. The Austrian Choir loves performing and welcomes all to this warm and wonderful afternoon event, complete with homemade cakes, tea and coffee for sale during the interval.
