JD Band hosts Canberra Blues Society October Blues Jam.

Blues and Roots vibes from the bars of New Orleans to the swamps of southern Texas featuring Canberra’s Blues force of nature, Dorothy-Jane ‘DJ’ Gosper, well known for her smoky vocal and distinct blues-harp style. Jeff Prime accompanies and solos on resonator and electric guitars. Seasoned bassist and vocalist, Dean Edgecombe together with groovy drummer, Naomi Smith form a solid rhythm section. JD Band will play mostly original songs written by DJ, Jeff and Deano, and will showcase their affinity for Traditional Blues.

The host band will be followed by some of the finest musicians in the Canberra region jamming together for a fabulous afternoon of live Blues music.
