Canberra Blues Society September Blues Jam will be hosted by Lying Cheating Bastards.
The LCB’s, more widely known as the ‘Lying Cheating Bastards’, are three fabulous musicians that have spent their whole lives avoiding being found out. Found out that is for fraudulent behaviour as musicians. They are Damian Spencer (Guitar & Vocals), John Van Buuren (Bass Guitar andVocals) and Jonathan Jones (drums and cardboard boxes). Just a straight up honest guitar-based trio who love playing music together. They are so far away from what their name suggests. That is if you can believe them.
They are steeped in the roots of Americana from soulful blues originals, raunchy RnB, old fashion Country (including Yodelling) and the sweet delights of Western Swing.
The host band will be followed by some of the finest musicians in the Canberra region jamming together for a great afternoon of live Blues music.
