Queen Juanita & the Zydeco Cowboys love the melting pot of the infectious rhythms and sounds of Louisiana. Swing blues, RnB, Zydeco and New Orleans funk from the likes of Clifton Chenier, Fats Domino, Bonnie Raitt, Jon Cleary, Wilson Pickett grace the repertoire.
Queen Juanita, on voice and accordion, will be joined by a group of very talented local musicians: Leo Joseph on guitar, Tom Fell on saxophone, Matt Nightingale on upright bass and Mitch Preston on drums.
The host band will be followed by some of the finest musicians in the Canberra region jamming together for a fabulous afternoon of live Blues music.
